I think this happens with most people who have been born and brought up in the hills, amidst a lot of greenery. We tend to carry a deep connection with the mountains at all times. Sometimes, in the midst of a hectic life in the plains, comes a gentle beckoning, a call, to come back, to spend some time there, to breathe in the fresh mountain air, to bask in the cozy sunshine, to wonder at the majestic beauty of snow capped peaks, to take long walks through winding pathways, to delight in steaming momos and hot soups, to sit back, relax and ... to just be.
