With nowhere to go and nothing to do, you invariably become more observant of what is happening within - all the bubbles of thoughts that come up, stay their duration & whither away. The entire gamut of emotions that come in cycles & disappear. How fascinating!
And all thoughts & emotions seem so permanent & real when they arrive. So solid. But after they have faded away, you struggle to remember what they were!
Somewhere then the discrimination happens - between what is truly important & valuable in life & what is not. Between what is real & what is just gabbar singh!
A pause once in a while can be great to de-clutter, cleanse perspectives & renew your commitment to your purpose.
P.S - You don't need to fall sick for that of course. Some quiet moments everyday might be enough too. :D
