Calm after the storm

Regular practice of meditation, after a point of time, brings a certain steadfastness in emotions. This centerdness can also comes with an intense desire to be free of the storms of emotions. It can also come suddenly, as a Divine gift. Whatever it is, it is a beautiful happening.

People, situations and events that irked you all your life suddenly lose their power to provoke you, and you are just left with this soothing calm for the most part. And, even if you get agitated, you are able to observe it while at it, instead of getting lost in it. How enlightening is that!
